La SEM Gironde Energies a été créée officiellement il y a peu. Son capital est partagé de la manière suivante : 59% pour le Syndicat Départemental d’Energie Electrique de la Gironde (SDEEG) ; 20% pour la Banque des Territoires ; 7% pour le fonds Crédit Agricole Aquitaine Expansion ; 7% pour le groupe Arkéa et 7% pour la Caisse d’Epargne Aquitaine Poitou Charentes. La nouvelle entité sera chargée d’investir et de développer une quarantaine de projets de production d’énergies renouvelables (solaire photovoltaïque, méthanisation, mobilité au BioGNV, solaire thermique).
